Worthouse Drift Team hits the road to Atlanta
Two weeks after their spectacular duels in Orlando the Worthouse Drift Team’s duo of James Deane and Piotr Więcek will be back in action during round 3 of the Formula DRIFT Pro Championship at the famous Road Atlanta circuit in Georgia.
The multi-purpose 2.5-miles, 12 turns undulating track is located just north of Atlanta and is recognized as one of the best road courses in the world with Formula DRIFT utilizing the fast and challenging turn 10 complex.
A completely different challenge than the banked oval in Orlando, Road Atlanta will be another new venue for both Deane and Więcek to master. The European duo never left the US after the previous round, electing to work on their Worthouse Drift Team’s Nissan Silvas S15 in Georgia before things kick off with Thursday’s open practice.
Qualifying starts on Friday at 6:15 PM local time with Saturday’s Top 32 at 4:30 and Top 16 at 8:30 PM local time. All action will be streamed live on www.formulad.com/live
