Contrary to the typical heat Texas is known for, the weather for Round 7 at Texas Motor Speedway was surprisingly comfortable for the Bridges Racing x Worthouse. Drift Team. A welcome reprieve for the drivers and crew.
This was a pivotal round for the team. James Deane. needed to do well to stay in 1st place, with Fredric Aasbø only 57 points behind. Also this was Dean Karnage Kearney and Piotr Więcek’s chance to solidify a top 10 finish in the championship.

We got a 1-2 podium with James Deane taking 1st and Dean taking 2nd. Piotr Wiecek drove well too going to the great 8 in spite of not having any practice on Thursday. There was a lot to do and the crew pulled together and pushed through all the adversity. I’m proud of everyone involved. Also have to give it up to the all the drivers. These tandems are getting insane. Every battle is a tough one. Lastly, thanks to all the crazy Atlanta fans, Team Rowdy USA and everyone else out there are what this is really all about.
